Each inlay flooring project begins with a conversation with you. Our designers learn more about your design tastes and discuss your marble mosaic inlay options. During the initial consultation our team will review your floor plan or measurements and along with your guidance, develop a rough rendering of the marble inlay flooring design. These sketches are elevated using mood boards with color varieties, historical references, detail sketches and our various design collections. Using this information, our estimator then drafts a detailed budget for the project, so you know what to expect moving forward.
After the initial sketches have been approved, our design team creates a detailed color rendering of the stone inlays with specific marble product samples and enhanced pattern detail. Once the design is finalized, we create shop drawings for your approval, these include dimensioning and sub-assembly diagrams. The artist that draws your floor design is simultaneously drawing the lines by which the waterjet then cuts the stone ensuring the most precise, intricate cuts resulting in incredible accuracy and a stunning appearance of even the smallest details like vines, leaves and scrollwork. Once assembled, we lay out the floor in it’s entirety to ensure an exact fit on the job site.
